We tend a quiet patch of the earth, weaving a home where nature can rest.

The Journey

My journey began in the days when I would pack my satchel with sandwiches and my sketchbook and cycle out into the nearby countryside, I was just 13 yrs old. I’d spend the day sketching and exploring, daydreaming in meadows of one day being a botanist or great explorer.

I ended up following my fathers footsteps and went into a career in Horticulture, where my love of plants, colours and nature made my work my joy.

unfortunately life sometimes throws in a curveball and due to my physical health I found I couldn’t work the way I always had. It was time to rethink and refocus! As I sat in my garden recuperating from multiple surgeries I found the answer.

I watched as a Wren hopped amongst my plants, picking off spiders and aphids ,I held my breath as butterflies came to sit by my chair, dragonflies, bees, my garden was alive! and I only have a small garden which definatly wasnt designed to be a wildlife garden! I couldn’t get out to the countryside but I didnt have too, I could observe and enjoy it right here, and then came the lightbulb moment.. I could help others get this too..I would go back to Designing gardens but with nature in mind, giving them sanctuary and space to rest too…….

Designing with passion

I believe no matter your garden size you can give nature a helping hand.

You don’t need to have a jungle, a wildflower meadow (but it’s great if you can)or even a lawn. With simple changes, right plant choices and thoughtful design, you can have a beautiful space for you to enjoy and for nature to share.

i’ve worked in Horticulture & Design for 30yrs and had a passion for nature all my life, its my dream to combine the two transforming our gardens.

Their attention to detail and commitment to quality truly stood out. We’ve already recommended Sharon to others.
